Dňa 13. februára 2019 sa Grigorij Mesežnikov zúčastnil v Tbilisi na medzinárodnom fóre Krajiny Východného partnerstva a V4 proti dezinformáciám, ktoré v rámci projektu podporeného Medzinárodným Visegrádskym fondom (IVF) zorganizoval Inštitút pre občiansky rozvoj a výskum (CDRI), Gruzínsko. IVO je partner projektu spolu s ďalšími organizáciami z krajín V4 a VP.
Vo svojom vystúpení a následnej diskusii v rámci panelu, venovaného šíreniu falošných správ a postojom verejnosti voči dezinformáciám, sa sústredil na historické a politické naratívy, ktoré využívajú autoritárske štáty v regióne strednej a východnej Európy.
