Political participation of women in Slovakia: possibilities and limits

Project span: May – November 2018. 

Project team: Zora Bútorová, Oľga Gyárfášová, Marian Velšic (researchers), Grigorij Mesežnikov (coordinator, reviewer), Ján Bartoš (organizational and technical support, publication graphic processing). 

Objective: The project focuses on factors related to the political participation of women in Slovakia. It examines gender inequalities in the light of statistical data. Based on  conducted representative public opinion polls, it deals with the perception of women’s status and equal opportunities, analyzes the public‘s views on political participation of women, and examines the modes of civic participation of younger women in cyberspace.
