International Congress of Human Rights in Rzeszów

On 11-12 June 2023, the VI International Congress of Human Rights took place in the Polish city of Rzeszów. The event, organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Poland, the University of Rzeszow and the Regional Excellence Initiative, was attended by experts from 22 countries on five continents, who presented their contributions in 25 thematic panels (see the detailed event program). 

Grigorij Mesežnikov took part in the panel Human Rights, Democracy and Global Political Challenges in a Changing World with his contribution on the activities of Russian propaganda actors in covering up the crimes committed by the Russian regime as part of its aggressive war against Ukraine. 

Stephen Mutch from Macquarie University (Australia), Maria Marczewska-Rytko from the Marie Curie-Skłodowska University (Poland) and Marek Skulimowski from the Kościuszko Foundation (USA) participated in the panel. The discussion was moderated by Maciej Milczanowski from the Institute of Political Science, University of Rzeszów (Poland).
