On August 2, 2025, an expert discussion on the erosion of democracy and the resilience of society against hybrid threats and disinformation was held in Litomyšl (Czech Republic) as part of the cultural and artistic event Litomyšl Fest 2025

On the stage of the main festival hall, the discussion was held by Martin Řezníček (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of News and Current Affairs at Czech Television), Otakar Foltýn (Strategic Communication Coordinator of the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic), Tomáš Bouška (Project Director of the organization politicalprisoners.eu and Head of the non-profit organization Novinářský inkubátor), Grigorij Mesežnikov (President of IVO) and moderator Kateřina Procházková (Sinopsis project).

The debate focused on the current situation in the world after the new American administration took office, Russia's continuing aggression against Ukraine and the West's response to this aggression, as well as the urgent challenges to liberal democracy in Central European countries.
