Authoritarian shadows in Europe

The think-tank Political Capital (Budapest), in cooperation with its partners from the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Romania and Bulgaria, has published the results of the analytical project Authoritarian shadows in the European Union. Influence of authoritarian third countries on EU institutions. The Institute for Public Affairs (IVO) participated in the project as a partner in Slovakia.

The implementation of the project was supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).

The main outputs of the project are:

(a) publication Authoritarian shadows in the European Union. Influence of authoritarian third countries on EU institutions 


(b)  special website containing comprehensive data on the votes of Members of the European Parliament from the seven countries surveyed.
