Reflection of year of protests in a new book released by N Press

In November and December 2018, a series of debates had place between citizens and authors of a new book 2018: Rok protestov. Rozhovory Tomáša Gálisa s Grigorijom Mesežnikovom [2018: The Year of Protests. Interviews of Tomáš Gális with Grigorij Mesežnikov], published by N Press publishing house.

After a discussion with readers in the Artfórum bookstore in Žilina and at the Central European Forum in Banská Bystrica Theater (also in cooperation with Artfórum), Tomáš Gális and Grigorij Mesežnikov discussed the contents of the book, the recent country’s developments and the prospects for the year 2019 with readers in the bookstores Artfórum in Košice (November 30, 2018) and Nové Zámky (December 13, 2018).

The national celebratory introduction of the book took place on November 3, 2018, at Nová Cvernovka in Bratislava on December 3, 2018, when writer and essayist Milan M. Šimečka became the book’s  “godfather”.
