On the 28th of April 2016, the conference ‘Old and new forms of populism in Central Europe’ took place in Prague. The conference, organised by the CEVRO Institute in collaboration with IVO and The International Institute of Political Science of Masaryk University in Brno, with the support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, was attended by Grigorij Mesežnikov and Oľga Gyárfášová.
In their contributions and the discussion that followed, the experts from IVO dealt with selected aspects of populist politics in Slovakia, the social and ideological aspects of activities of the bearers of populism as a political stream.
