Discussion on the situation in Ukraine at the general assembly of the civic association Bridges
On the 21st of May 2015, as a part of its general assembly, the civic association Czecho-Slovak Bridges organised in the Pisztory Palace in Bratislava a discussion on the developments in Ukraine. The discussion was attended by Michail Kapustin (a rabbi from Crimea, who lives since 2014 in Slovakia) and Grigorij Mesežnikov (IVO president). The discussion was moderated by Marta Šimečková (a journalist and translator). The participants of the discussion focused on the circumstances of the Ukrainian “Revolution of Dignity”, the events related to the Euro-Maidan, changes in the power relations in the country, annexation of Crimea by Russia and unleashing a military conflict in eastern Ukraine.
