On 29 November – 1 December, 2013, in Čejkovice (South Moravia, Czech Republic) IVO president Grigorij Mesežnikov participated in the conference What was succeeded, what was not and why? Center-right reforms in the Czech Republic and Slovakia: 20 years of independent existence of two republics from the perspective of the Czech and Slovak center-right. In his presentation and subsequent discussion he focused on different aspects of the process of Slovakia’s political transition in 1990 – 2012 (activities of constitutional institutions and political parties, implementation of socio-economic reforms, citizens’ views etc.). Conference was attended by selected representatives of Czech and Slovak political scene, political scientists, sociologists and journalists. The event was organized by Civic Institute (Prague) with support of Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
