About the crisis and social-economic reforms in Budapest

On May 24, 2013, Grigorij Mesežnikov participated in Budapest at a workshop Crisis Management and the Politics of Reforms in Central and Eastern Europe. Workshop was organized by Hungarian Ministry of Public Administration and Justice in cooperation with Institute for Public Policy Research. It was held in the framework of Hungarian presidency of the Central European Initiative. Representatives of several Central European countries (Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Moldova) participated in the workshop and discussed the issues of “crisis management”, countries’ experiences in implementation of structural reforms and their impact to social and political sphere. Topic of IVO president’s contribution was "Socio-economic Reforms in Slovakia: Public Perception, Social Impact, Political Implications".
