IVO analysts discussed the forthcoming elections in Prešov

On March 3, 2012, experts from the Institute for Public Affairs (IVO), sociologist Oľga Gyárfášová and political analyst Grigorij Mesežnikov, held lectures and discussions with students and professors of the Prešov University on topics pertaining to the early parliamentary elections in Slovakia. In a lecture called “Elections 2012: Campaign, themes and voters”, they presented results of the pre-election research findings containing voters' opinions, analyzed key themes and developments of the election campaign and answered questions posed by the audience.

On the same day, also in Prešov, the Slovak Foreign Policy Association organized a discussion as part of the Jour Fixe program with experts of the Institute for Public Affairs called the “Themes of European Politics in the 2012 Elections.” Journalists, foreign-policy analysts and representatives of local civil society attended the event.

The early-elections-related analyses conducted by the experts of IVO have been published by Prešovský korzár.

The Project "Early parliamentary elections in Slovakia 2012: public debate about the values of open society, integrity, civic participation and the european future of the country" is realized thanks to the support of Open Society Foundation (Nadácia otvorenej spoločnosti).
