Defining the underlying weaknesses of liberal parties at a conference in Prague

On June 4, 2012 Grigorij Mesežnikov took part in the How to Explain Failure of Liberal Parties? workshop, organized by the CEFRES Institute (Prague) and the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Charles University in Prague; in cooperation with the European Liberal Democrat and Reform Party (ELDR). The workshop was the third event to have taken place within a research project called The Liberal Parties in Central and Eastern Europe: Weakness and Potential.

In his contribution, IVO's president looked at the organizational aspects of activities undertaken by liberal parties in Slovakia in the years 1990-2012. The conference saw a gathering of experts from the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Belgium.
