Slovakia one year after elections

On May 29, 2011 IVO president Grigorij Mesežnikov had a lecture The First Year of New Government: Politics and Policies, Challenges and Accomplishments on the public event organized for participants of Current Affairs Forum (a forum of international experts, residing and working in Bratislava).

In his lecture, Mesežnikov analyzed domestic politics in Slovakia during the initial period after parliamentary elections 2010. He spoke about Iveta Radičová´s cabinet’s performance and relations between the center-right ruling coalition and the opposition parties. In further discussion he answered the questions about overall framework of transformation process in Slovakia and specificities of Slovakia‘s party system.
