On May 30, 2011 Zora Bútorová and Jarmila Filadelfiová spoke at the conference The Gains and Benefits of Care Services, which was organized by the Department of Gender Equality and Equal Opportunities of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic. In their presentations, they discussed the broader social context of policies aimed at the harmonization of work, family and personal life, with a specific emphasis on the demographic development.
The conference was linked to an award ceremony for the winners of the 10th anniversary competition Family-friendly employer, responsive to gender equality and equal opportunities (Zamestnávateľ ústretový k rodine, rodovej rovnosti a rovnosti príležitostí).
