Presentation of the book “Slovak Elections 10“ in Artforum, Bratislava

On June 7, 2011 Institute for public affairs (IVO) presented its new book Slovak Elections´10: Chance for a change.

Historian Milan Zemko, publicist Robert Kotian and sociologist Ivan Dianiška introduced  the book. Coauthors and editors Oľga Gyárfašová and Zora Bútorová also took part in the presentation as well as coauthors Grigorij Mesežnikov and Martin Bútora.

In the ensuing lively discussion they analyzed variety of  topics such as the existence of a sophisticated electorate, the definition of the“programmatic  party“ in relation to the Slovak political scene,  historical and  political  issues,  future of some political parties.  All the mentioned  issues were discussed in the wider European context.
