IVO on Parliamentary Election 2010

Objective: The project aims to provide the Slovak and the international community with the analytical insight into the Slovak 2010 parliamentary election and its various aspects (factors of electoral behavior and electoral mobilization, course of pre-election campaign, nature of public debate, candidate political parties’ mission statements, voting results and its circumstances). The project includes a series of analytical articles at www.infovolby.sk (website informing on current election); commentaries, articles, interviews, and online discussions published in Slovak media (Sme, Pravda, Hospodárske noviny, Plus 1 deň, Nový čas, Új Szó, Trend, SITA, TASR, SRo, topky.sk) as well as foreign media (from Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Ukraine, Italy) and participation of IVO experts in the TV debates organized by the MEMO 98 association. Furthermore, research results were utilized for the international workshop on Visegrad (V4) countries elections which was organized by IVO in July 2010 in Bratislava.
