IVO’s president on seminar on fight against corruption

On November 13, 2006 IVO’s president Grigorij Mesežnikov took part in seminar Combatting Corruption in the Next Four Years, organized in Bratislava by Transparency International Slovakia with support of the Norwegian Embassy.

He chaired discussion within the panel „Views of Non-State Actors on Combatting Corruption in the Following Four Years“. Participants representing independent NGOs, namely Zuzana Wienk, director of Alliance Fair Play, Peter Ničík, executive director of civic association For Nicer Žilina and Ján Füle, journalist, discussed about conflict of interests, access to information on local level and role of media in fighting against corruption.
