Objective:
Through qualitative analytical research t o map the opinions of managers, entrepreneurs and economists on the trends and problems persisting in the economic and business environment in Slovakia. The research focuses on several thematic sections that evaluate the following: legislative norms applicable in the business environment and the rule of law; the activities of institutions and their influence on forming the business environment; financial aspects of running a business and availability of capital; job performance and pay from the point of view of the entrepreneur; taxes and relations with the tax collection bureau; corruption as a factor in business ventures; general conditions of running a business; the most important changes that have impacted the process of running a business over the course of past 12 months; and Slovakia’s future economic outlook.
