Women as a target Group of Non-governmental Organizations in the Election Campaign

Objective:
Through qualitative sociological research, the publication attempts to gain more detailed knowledge of the following: specific features of women’s voting behavior; the most pressing problems as perceived by contemporary women; views of women’s participation in politics and public life; perception of women’s position in society; opinions on select legal amendments to social policies; perception of non-governmental organizations; potential of active participation of women in public life, and in the work of non-governmental organizations.


Outputs:

Chapter: "Women, Men and the Equality of Opportunities" in a publication Slovakia 2002. Global Report on the State of Society that is primarily published in the Slovak language later followed by an abridged, updated and revised English language edition.


Chapter: "Women and Men in Politics" in a publication titled Slovakia 2002. Global Report on the State of Society.


Analytical research report: Potential of Active Participation of Women in Public Life (August 2002). Available in the Slovak language only.
