This publication offers a comprehensive analysis of the Roma problem, one of the most serious social, cultural, and civilization issues in Slovakia. The Global Report on Roma in Slovakia contains information on the cultural identity of the Roma. It analyzes relations between this ethnic group and majority population, as well as the group’s present social situation. The book further sketches demographic trends in the development of the Roma population, and devotes attention to the legislative and institutional framework of Roma problems in an international context.
