E-Skills and the Labor Market in Slovakia

Objective:  The aim of the project is to highlight current issues and trends in the use of modern information technologies in the field of labor and the labor market; project results are based on empirical research and practical evidence.

The result of the project is an analytical study that focuses on the following issues:

  • adaptation to information technologies
  • perception of modern information technologies from the viewpoint of employment
  • development of digital skills of economically active and unemployed
  • development of digital skills in the sectors of the economy
  • The biggest problems in the digital skills of workers and the unemployed
  • Perception of computer science education at elementary and secondary schools
  • Company requirements for e-Skills candidates
  • The ability of applicants to work with computer skills
