Enhancing the Rights of Older People and Utilizing Their Potential through Active Ageing

Objective: To write a book based on recent sociological findings concerning various aspects of the life situation of older people in Slovakia, the compliance with their rights within the society, public attitudes towards older people, as well as the participation of older people in various spheres of society (labor market, politics, civil society, and family). To disseminate the book in order to contribute to enhancing the quality of public discourse about the rights of older people and to promoting the concept of active ageing in Slovakia.
