Slovakia in Key International Surveys: Twenty Years of Society Transformations

Objectives: to conduct the survey of voting behaviour and other related topics after the general election 2010. The survey is a part of the international comparative project Comparative Studies of Election Systems (CSES), which has been conducting in dozens of countries of the globe. Slovakia joined this project for the first time in 2010. The fieldwork has been carried out by professional polling agency TNS SK via the network of trained interviewers, the representative sample of adult population - 1203 respondents – eligible voters in Slovakia. Since October 2011 the data from the survey are publicly are accessible in the Slovak Archive of Social Data. The entire project will result in publishing a synthetic publication handling the transformations of Slovak society within the last twenty years.
