Gender and Family Aspects of Integration of Migrants from Third Countries

Objective:
Main objective is to map and analyze special position of vulnerable group of women migrating from third countries and to contribute to improving their position in Slovak society. Research project will contribute to understanding of the life conditions and barriers of integration of migrants from the third countries in Slovakia. Special focus will be given to family life and gender aspects of their position in Slovak society. Project will focus on the vulnerable group of women who face multiply disadvantaged position in the society in comparison to other migrant groups. Main research focus will be on all relevant dimensions of integrations – social, economical, legal, cultural and religious dimension. Project will lead to publication and summary of recommendations for public representatives, potential employers and migrants themselves.
