Annotation

The principal goal of this publication prepared in cooperation with the Centre of Security Information in Brussels is to analyze the future impact of the most recent EU enlargement from May 2004 on European Defence and Security Policy and the Union’s general ability to reach consensus. The authors from Visegrad Four countries were asked to map out these countries’ attitudes to key issues of the European security discourse. In doing so, they provide a plastic picture of examined countries’ security philosophies as well as their genesis and steadiness.
