Objective:
To continually analyze the basic development trends, problem areas, and public opinion in Slovakia. The basis for the project is representative sociological research carried out on an adult sample of the population based on the following selection criteria: sex, age, education level attained, nationality, the size of the town/district. The research focused on the following: perception of problems in the society considered most pressing; evaluation of the direction the society is heading; perception of the past and present regime; value and economic orientations; political preferences and sympathies; confidence in politicians, trust in institutions; positions on national and ethnic issues; views of “the rules of the game” in the society; gender issues; foreign-political positions and preferences; digital literacy; and socio-cultural capital (language skills, computer skills, contact with foreign countries)

Chapter: "Public opinion" in a publication Slovakia 2000. Global report on the State of Society that is primarily published in Slovak language, later followed by an abridged, updated and revised English language edition.

Working paper: "Foreign Policy Orientations in Slovakia" (October 2000). Published in the English language.
