Presentation of GMF project’s outcomes in Brussels

Ms. Oľga Gyárfášová and Mr. Ilko Kucheriv (executive director of the Democratic Initiative Foundation, DIF, Kiev based think-tank) presented the findings of the project Endorsing Transatlantic Debate, Promoting Transatlantic Values, and Strengthening the Euroatlantic Vector in Ukraine   generously supported by the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Lunchtime roundtable Ukraine: At a Crossroads Again took place on October 30 in the GMF Brussels office. The presentation was followed by commentary by Mr. Pirkka Tapiola, Senior Advisor at the Policy Unit, Council of the European Union and a vibrant discussion about the recent political situation in Ukraine and her integration perspectives.

The outcomes of the IVO-DIF cooperation were presented also in the NATO HQ. The event was attended mostly by experts and officials form political and public diplomacy sections. Mr. Michel Duray, Director of the NATO Information and Documentation Centre in Kiev introduced the presenters and moderated the debate.
