Objective:
To analyze women’s views for the purposes of the 2002 election campaign and the activities of non-governmental organizations involved in women’s issues. Qualitative sociological research was undertaken to gather information on the following: specific characteristics of electoral behavior of women; what are the most pressing problems women face; views of women’s participation in politics and public life; perception of the position of women in society; positions on some legal amendments to legislation on social policies; perception of non-governmental organizations; potential of active participation of women in public life and in the activities of non-governmental organizations.
